But do you have to keep your TPMS? I was thinkin about just selling them off with the wheels/tires. Would not having them installed void any part of your warranty?

You are going to have your tire pressure light on forever without TPMS sensors

Yeah I figured that but I'm doin some research on how to get rid of that if at all possible. Probably just swap them over with the new wheels and tires.

    Bump...

Anyone got any input on putting these on a 2nd gen with close to stock wire size?

Stock 265/65/r17's would fit fine. I have no idea why people would tell you otherwise. If you are worried double check the tire manufacturers website for acceptable rim widths for your tire size.

Yes, it will likely be fine. Just check the manufacturers website if you need to make sure.

I'm running 255's on my rims with no problems and the manufacturer stands behind that as well. They look great too.

I'm sure it's somewhere in this thread but the 1" rim width difference is huge for offroading. It allows you to run much wider tires if you want while still allowing for most of the stock sizes on the 17" rims to work. You can't run much wider tires on the 7" stock TRD Pro rims and even if you can you are much more likely to knock them off the bead because of the difference in sizes.

I double checked an you can run 265/65/r17 Dunlops on 8" wide rims no problem... actually the funny thing is that it says you shouldn't run them on 7" wide rims...

Getting the bronze mounted on my white 2016 friday. Thanks Dustin

Have the gunmetal TRD Pros now and while they are very nice, I wan't totally satisfied with the color. They'll be for sale if anyone in Nor Cal is interested. Only have about 50 miles on them

The Toyo is a great looking a/t tire. I went with the TRD Pro wheel only because I could get them next day from the dealer at cost. With the Toyo tires, the stance is just right for the 95% road that my truck will see.

Looks great BigRed! Ordered mine with Dustin earlier this week. I have an MGM and went with the gun metal in dark gloss. They should come in April. Now I pretty much know what mine will look like.

Not a 3rd Gen but this is the best FN thread and I hadn't found a Grey on Black picture.
