they sure don't make toys like they used to. Nothing but plastic junk nowadays. We used to ride mine down the driveway. Toys don't last too long around my house especially with my two little hell raisers.

The other is for official upcoming events.... and BS

There's also one for trip reports.... and BS

    a trading post.... and BS

    Yup.

Sound deadener like Dynomat is used to stiffen up sheet metal that otherwise resonates a lot.

The floor is very rigid already given the extra structural design/components and the seats being bolted to it, etc.

If you really want to see gains on the floor, you need to use a mass loaded vinyl. That will really cut down on the frequencies that infiltrate the cab through the floor.

You sure it's tuned properly and you're not just frying all your CBs?

Mine was tuned. The one in the crawler was done by the previous owner and never really worked right anyway, so that one I'm not sure if it was or not.

I even spent over $70 to get it looked at and boosted and it still didn't freaking work. I found it had a broken wire inside the mic cable too and thought that was my issue. New mic and nada.

Think I'm good at 1.8 mhz for my swr reading? I am trying to get a better ground. I think I'm gonna have to grind down where the paint is on the hood hinge and under it so it gets a solid ground point and plane to retrieve better readings!

They say 1.5 or less is acceptable. Better get to grinding or add a ground cable. :D
