Got back in the gym today for the first time in 2 months due to a back injury. Those 2 months were spent doing literally nothing. Crazy how much weaker I am now.

Well I'm not just posting fast food even though I am...but more importantly, and much more shameful. This is the 2nd time I'm eating this same meal in the past 3 hours. :anonymous:

Just saw this thread! Ive been going to the gym now daily for 5 years. I'm 5'10 and weighed 128lbs the first day I started training. Ive been eating clean and watching macros for the last year and am at a solid 157lbs and still pretty lean. I rock climb and play hockey so Ive never tried to lift too heavy. I usually focus on a good stretch, pause and then a good muscle contraction, typically shooting for 14-20 reps.

This year some friends have talked me into possibly doing an OCB natural BB'ing show, but I don't know how i feel about posing yet lol...

Okay gym bruhs, let me get your thoughts on this...

My recommended caloric intake from all the calculators is around 2500/day with an average TDEE of 2950. Right now, I'm eating like 3350 calories per day and have been for like a month. At this intake, I have consistently stayed between 206 and 209, which leads me to think my TDEE is what I'm eating right now: 3350 calories. Therefore, I'm thinking it'd be wise to start out eating higher calories than what's proposed by the calculators. I think I'll probably start out eating around 2850 instead of the recommended 2500.

I'm assuming that as long as I keep my protein high (around 220g) and my fat low (between 60 & 70 g), I can just fill the rest in with carbs, right?

Another reason the calculators arnt exact. If you're maintaining at 3350 id say you'd be pretty safe going to 2850 and losing a lb a week with the 500cal deficit.

    ....if not adjust accordingly

Yeah, that was hilarious and too good to pass up...nothing like a good case of the mud butt

True. That may be why I lost so much muscle on my last cut. I got down to 180, but I looked lethargic. I was probably cutting at like a 900 calorie deficit...on accident of course

Monday, brah. Operation 10% bf is about to commence. I'm probably going to gain 15 lbs this weekend. I've got all my favorites on the docket: pizza, hot wings, french toast, Flamin Hot crunchy Cheetos, and lots and lots of beer...

Although, I do still drink on a cut, I am pretty good about sticking to my diet.

I have these pale green slacks on that I wear every St. Paddy's day and they're a 32x32. Generally, I never even try to fit into my 32x32's when it's bulking season, but I always wear these pants on St Paddy's. I had to leave the top button unbuttoned and you can basically see the veins in my dick they're so tight up top. I'm probably going to switch into my much more comfortable 34x32's at lunch. This cut is much-needed.
