Having the cap was a pain. Then not being able to take the cap off was even more of a curve ball. All in all, we got her figured out.

    Bumper looks really nice.

How is it finished? Paint or powder coat?

Probably for a more accurate measurement of where to cut the fenders for bumper clearance.

I had Pelfrey PC it matte black.

    Thanks man!

Exactly. The depressed molding sticking out under the cap wasn't exactly uniform. Made measuring a bit more complicated. I wanted the cut line to match the the bumper and lines of the truck not be "level".

Finally chopped the exhaust. Also slapped some steekers on and played around with the camera.

Probably got carried away, but what the hell, I cant use the RVM anyways....

You guys should see mine :anonymous:. I cut once and they were straight as can be. But it wasn't enough and the bumper wouldn't fit. The second cut I butchered. Sometimes I think about getting a pelfreybilt rear bumper cause I would have to cut it once more and could redeem myself.

My first cut was perfect. But I had to go back and trim just 1/4" to make it fit. It was so much harder to trim that small of an increment. Using a dremmel and about 5 cutoff wheels helped with precision.

I have 12 on now, but one is useless. I think 10 will be plenty as long as you have good placement.

Honestly man, I would just buy and make 12 brackets. That way if you're not happy with the output you can easily add one where you want. Or if one goes out you have a replacement for quick install.
