If you're worried, get the Blackstone Labs kit and have your oil analyzed for $20. That'll tell you if you're getting coolant mixing with the oil. Otherwise, just keep an eye on the levels, if you don't notice it dropping then don't worry about it. If it was a 'bad' leak, surely you'd notice the coolant level dropping by now.

That is probly the way to go. This can't be the first time this came up. I figured if it was sloped a lot you could use that in your favor perhaps

I have to push my door up a extra inch and stick a screw driver in the wheel to hold it while I get my 4Runner in/out of the garage.

I'm really not worried, to be honest. I'll pick up an oil kit and have it tested next time I'm due for a change, but I just changed the oil not even 200 miles ago and there wasn't any coolant in it that I could see. I keep an eye on all the fluids (legacy of owning old trucks for so long) and haven't noticed the coolant level dropping at all. Like you said, if it was really a 'bad' leak I'd have noticed by now. So for now I'm comfortable with just keeping an eye on it and seeing if anything shows up. If it does...

    Maybe a 2016, lol

I recall some people having a weird clunk that they couldn't identify in the past and it ended up being the LCA bushings allowing the control arm to move too much. They identified the problem by putting a GoPro under the truck and going for a drive. The LCA was moving a LOT in the bushings but, on tight turns, that was what caused the unidentified 'clunk'.

I wish I had a useable garage. Those of you who have seen it inside and outside know what I mean. Not sure even my truck will go in but if I remember right her Rav4 won't.

In no order, the issues are:

    85 yr old house.

The door is an old POS and sags.

Width isn't all that great either.

Only a 1 car, and the basement which is not attached is so tiny top to bottom that it's pretty much useless.

In fairness I think the Rav sits a tad higher than mine. 4WD and a rack versus 2WD.

I never understood this about old houses. Why are there garages so small? The car's back then were huge. They were never going to fit in those garages.
    Sunny here

If the house is 85 that'd put it as being built in 1931, so they were probably designing the garage to fit a Model A Ford, though, and those were pretty small vehicles (12-14 feet long and only about 5-6 feet wide, mostly). Very small compared to the boats from the 50's and 60's. :notsure:

A garage is next on my list or home improvements after that kitchen... By request of the girlfriend. That and it will add value to the home

I'm not even sure the garage was part of the house originally. I think the concrete slab was in that pour but I think it may not have been built up. The house was originally a summer cottage and over the years it's been added onto here and there.

Advice: Take the size of the garage that you think you'll need, and double it. It still won't be enough, lol.
