Just for curiosities sake, why do so many here seem to hate the sunroof? I had one in my 01 SR5 and it's the only thing I miss on my new TRD. Open that bastage up, crank the tunes, and let the warm summer sun in, what's wrong with that?

How is it a concept? You mean they may not bring it to Canada. My budy is testing it as we speak in mex.

The mis-information even at the higher levels in Toyota is astounding. There is nothing concept about this truck, it's a production-intent truck being released this fall.

Personal preference I'd say. I have one but never use it and would prefer the extra head room, less weight (in the worst spot), and less potential headaches in the future.

This, and the fact that it's just another thing that can break. People on here have already had water leaking through it...but it is a new model. Things like that happen.

The headaches I was referring to, but alas, the future is now.

I personally don't want to have to deal with leaks or wind noise. Mostly leaks though.

There are no power seats. The seats are identical to the current seats.

I was on a waiting list, but decided to just order a DCSB OR MT model and add the skid plates and suspension. I like the concept, but I don't like the tech package and cross traffic sensors, et al. The cement paint is pretty sweet, but I couldn't wait until the end of the year.

I suppose in a roll over I don't want glass shattering inches from my head.
It's 2016, they don't leak anymore. Let your freak flag fly. Release the sunroof!

I wouldn't ever trust a source that is from a dealer.

This is copied from the offficial press release for the 2017 tacoma trd pro. Not anywhere do i see the word power seats.

"Interior Sportiness Combined with Convenience Technology

Driving a sporty package in rugged off-road conditions does not mean you can’t ride in comfort and with the latest safety and convenience technologies. The new Tacoma TRD Pro combines sportiness and convenience with standard features that include:

Black TRD Pro leather-trimmed heated front seats with TRD Pro logo located in the headrest

4-way adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and 4-way adjustable front passenger seat

Entune™ Premium Audio with Integrated Navigation and App Suite

    TRD shift knob

    TRD Pro floor mats

Leather-trimmed tilt/telescopic steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth® hands-free phone controlsRear parking assist sonar

Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA)"

Thanks for quoting the source. Correct, the 4 way adjustable seats are exactly what the current tacoma comes with.
