Yeah, I did a lot of power line riding on dirt bikes and 4 wheelers when I was younger.. despite no signs they tried to press charges saying it was posted and signs were vandalized.. also keep an eye open for purple paint on trees.

I was in Asheville 2 weeks ago for the first time. I actually enjoyed it a lot. There are a lot of hippie types downtown, but it was still cool. If you go, eat at Packs Tavern...it was outstanding!

There's plenty of beer to be consumed and good places to eat in Asheville. In order to avoid the hippies another fun small town is Hendersonville. Downtown has a lot of nice shops and a cool like 1950s themed burger joint called Mike's on Main. Could always run up to Sierra Nevada in Mills River. Not a bad drive and a lot of great beer and food in one place.

The Gorge(zip line) in Saluda is awesome too and there is a great BBQ joint just on the outskirts of town.

If I could like this more than one I would. I've never done the zip line but I've heard great things. The BBQ place on the other hand is excellent, I would always go there after kayaking the green river.
