WTF? What law was broken? What did the kid do that warranted apprehension?

I agree that it was STUPID, but the last time I checked stupidity wasn't outlawed. I wish it was, but it's everyone's right to be dumb once in a while.

He's a moron, no argument there. But nothing warranted more than a stern talking to. If their fragile sensibilities were so hurt that they had to pull out handcuffs in order to re-establish their dominance then they can turn in their badges and go fuck themselves.

 

Civility and reason are out the window right now. I told my stepsons to keep their nose clean as tolerance for tomfoolery is at a low.

I'm a bit confused as to what infraction he made, to what law? I'm not trying to argue anything here, but what law did he break, what warranted him getting chased, dragged down, and cuffed?

 

I remember we had a front door we couldn't get open to a house that always gave us problems and found a cache in so our SSgt got an Abrams to put round through the the front door and level the house wish I had video so yes the good ol days lol

 

I don't know either, but I do know that resisting arrest was one of the charges that warranted the chasing, dragging, and cuffing. Everything leading up to that... cops don't like being harassed?

 

Awfully frail if they consider that 'harassment'.

From what I can get, (video probably doesn't show everything) he did it once, maybe, and then stopped......I suppose if he'd done it multiple times after they asked him to stop, it would warrant being detained.

 

Were there charges? Was he taken to jail? Probably not. My guess is they just put him in the back of a squad car and gave him a stern talking to, given that the video got posted to the internet and all. Not seeing much wrong with that.

 

A stern talking to is all those cops will get, if that. Cops do no wrong, don't you know? And if they do, it's because of the pressures of their job! It has nothing to do with abuse of power, a protectionist culture, arrogance, a sense of invincibility, or a perception of infallibility. Gotta keep those streets safe from stupid people who participate in freestyle walking.

My best friend is a cop, but that doesn't keep me from seeing the problems with our police culture. There are probably just as many assholes per capita in any other profession, but other professions don't allow gun toting or tyrannical authority.

 

I'm hesitant to use the word "Cops" here as I'm sure all professions have their share of jerks. Unfortunately 10% of the people make 80% of the noise if you know what I mean.

These two individuals got their pride rustled and instead of being grown up about it, they had to re-establish their dominance. Unfortunately they had to fall back on the power of the badge because I guess that's all they had. For those of you in the military, its like that stupid officer that have to pull rank every time he doesn't get his way. I hope their precinct got hold of this vid and straightened them out.

 

Huh, because they wear a small piece of shiney metal, they should be subjected to a clown flipping over their heads... And if he messed up and fell on them?? I don't think any of us want a 175lb dummy landing on our neck...

I know both of the cops involved and have dealt with that same douchebag. He was charged with culpable negligence and obstruction w/o violence. He pled guilty to both and got community service.

That same douchebag has had numerous run ins with law enforcement. I'm surprised he hasn't been shot yet. He likes to to stupid videos... Like jumping into someone's car at a stoplight, kissing random girls, and other stupid stuff. He's been lucky with the cars he's jumped in...

 

It's called respect and that dick doesn't have any that's why people get hurt.
