Here's a pic of where it attaches...
    image.jpg
It uses the two nuts on the studs that hold the aluminum bumper support to the frame and also the lower bolt going up through the cross member.

Here's a pic of the bracket on the bumper guard..
    image.jpg

That extra bolt at the bottom and the gussets make it solid.. Very little flex when it's installed.
    Hope that helps.

Since the 2nd Gen is already designed, can the group buy / discount start now for just the 2nd gen?

The version without the light hoops is at powder coat. Pics should be up this week.

Once those are up on the website we will kick off the GB soon after. A discount code will be provided for the site and TW members.

Also, Brandon has discussed adding a custom plate option. This is not an option normally offered on the website but would be made available to the TW members during the GB.

Agreed. Love the look of the TRD plate and I'm liking the look without the hoops the more I see it.

@iJonny , does this install remove the lower valence? or does it simply go over it?

Sub'd. Definitely in for the group buy. Want to see pics without the fog light hoops first though, I could go either way there.

Thanks a lot! Looking forward to it. Had to search for this thread after seeing on the avid website the 3rd gen had a front bumper guard. Loved the 2nd gen option when I first saw that when I had my '14, been waiting on a 3rd gen version since I picked up my 2016 in December :)

It was a tough build, that 2016 front end has a lot of lines. I watched Brandon make a few prototypes and beat himself up for weeks. This man is a perfectionist and very critical of the products he sells. In the end this piece turned out great and seeing it in person is even better.

I started as a local customer for Avid and built a strong friendship with Brandon and Tanner over the last 3 years. These guys work hard every day and build solid products. I have a good presence on TW so I can monitor traffic here. Im glad that I can help bring this group buy to the TW members.

Its looking like April will be the start of this GB. I will post a discount code and it will be only available for a set amount of time. Orders will be filled as they are placed. We just need to get the product back from powder, do a test fit and take some photos to get it on the website.

Id like to get pictures posted of all the members that get in on the GB for the thread as well.

Ill keep you guys posted as soon as I get news. Thanks for your patience.
