Lazy Springs Meet on Sunday March 20, 2016 (9:00am)

Also, I was in the area yesterday. The place I went to is 119 miles from my house. I filled up before leaving & my fuel gauge was just slightly under the 3/4 tank line when I arrived & I had about 600 lbs of equipment in the bed. I was driving @ 70 mph. Lazy Springs is 126 miles from my house.

Just so you have an idea on the amount fuel needed to get there.

yea i didn't look at it before we went up. someone must of got stuck pretty good as the holes under the front tires were pretty big. this picture was after i had filled them in. if i had carried more speed like you said i would of made it. but i was worried what was on the other side lol. i tried to back off and that just made things way worse. got hung on the cross member.

@lamia2super Where in the park is the trail you guys did around 0:08 - 0:17 I don't think I've ever seen that section..?

Well, its hot enough! @mouse007 I know its earlier than usual but I like this time. Not so hot in the morning & I dont have to stay so late.

Hello Forum,
I posted a pic on Facebook from my last visit to Lazy Springs & one of the FJ guys (Scott Kroeger) replied to it by informing me of an upcoming meet at Lazy Springs on March 20 @ 9:00 am. I told him that I'll post the info here so that we can get some TW members out there as well. I plan to go. I've missed quite a few meets lately & I don't want to miss this one. Any of you want to ride out there with me? Let me know by repsonding to this thread or PM. We can meet up somewhere before heading out there or we can all just meet up at Lazy Springs.

Below is a pic that @importpower99 sent to me regarding a meet-up spot before reaching Lazy Springs. I think this is an excellent choice. No matter where in the East coast you are riding from you will have to pass through there unless you take State Rd 80 but I-75 is probably the best route for most.

These are the coordinates and address to the entrance of the area circled in red.

@TAC1 Totally agree, way better. So, I have a few rigs heading up on Sunday. Have any of the South FL guys locked down a meeting point..?

im not surprised since it leads to a dead end....its a tiny trail thats moreless next to the main street

The next day clean-up showed some tire damage. I LOVE BFG's Tri Ply sidewall! I've done 2 road trips after these pics totalling almost 1400 miles and no issues.
