mine click/pops about 7/10 backing up. I honestly think its these shitty moog TREs. Or the uniball, everything is tight like a toiga.

I think it actually has to do with a shoddy overall design which has a lot of sloppy tolerances built into it more than anything else. I have been chasing noises for a long time and sort of just gave up as everything is ridiculous tight.

 

You might want to try dousing your uniballs with the teflon spray. I have had instances where mine were so dry they were making odd noises due to insufficient lubrication. You would be surprised how many odd noises they can make.

 

I wouldn't even bother with that. What kind of control arms are you running?

 

Fk uniballs. They are fine. Don't replace them, like I said just lube the shit out of them. When is the last time you did? I ran mine dry for a long time and then they started freaking out making noises similar to yours because they were dry for so long.

Bathing them in teflon fluid and flexing it tons of times (over the course of a few days actually) made the noises go away in time and now I lube them up once every 3 months or if I am feeling lazy, every 6 now.

 

How did you guys have your exhaust rerouted? Extend it to go behind the transfer case is the only way I can see doing it.. Having mine done next week

Dude the Y pipe is so easy to swap out. Ive got the URD Y pipe as well with the stock one sitting on the shelf. 10 minutes easily. Its 6 bolts and the URD falls right out, then the stock one takes a hair of finesse to wiggle it in over the crossmember. Swapping them the first time took me maybe half an hour

 

I'm in college and don't have room to keep it around, I'm not pre running at all and don't need that extra little bit of power, and it's 4x the price of a reroute. It would be nice to have that extra bit of power but don't need it.

I just had them put in a flat pipe and move it up a bit. Super cheap and easy.

We thought about that but I thought it might restrict flow a little?

 

Rattle can. Too cheap to pay for powder coating.
