    Haha!! One of my daily tasks as a park worker is dumping garbage cans. We drill holes in the bottom of the cans so they don't hold fluids. This is the bottom of a brand new can and after I emptied it, this critter was screaming at me. He was stuck in a drain hole!! LOL. So I extracted him from the can and he limped off on his way. The seagulls were eyeing him up. :D

    Back in the hospital this afternoon for a procedure in the morning. Paritoneal Dialysis....This is supposed to put an end to the reoccurring infection in my kidneys. May be a one time deal, maybe a 2nd round if 1st doesn't clean up the problem. I'm trying to remain positive. The procedure will begin around 7AM and last 4 to 7 hours. Should be dismissed Sunday if all goes well.

    So....No camping trip this weekend. No 4-wheeling adventure. Maybe next time.....:fingerscrossed:

    Oh well.....Have a good'n!

    Problem is, I'm using up a LOT of my vacation time as medical leave. And we're just about to launch into "busy season" where I couldn't get time off anyway. I'll be good with getting well and waiting until fall for a LONG vacation.

    We now own a nice restored Airstream camper. Planning on towing down to Black Mountain Off Road Area (Harlan Ky) this fall, spending a few days there, then on to the Smokey's. Late September/early October.
