I put Calipers and rotors for 15" wheels on last night, and everything fit! I'll have pics of the American Racings tonight!

So it is warm enough to work on your car... If you can't see your breath you are fine.
Wait, you put on smaller brakes??

Yes. Well the rotor is the same, just the calipers are smaller. They work the same, if not better, so I'm not complaining.

The 3.slow is probably the worst engine toyota ever made.

Shouldn't a bigger caliper work better because the contact patch is more surface area?

The problem was my 15" rims were hitting the 16" caliper. Theres calipers for 15" wheels and 16" wheels for some reason.

Right, to accommodate the size of the rims. Its kinda the same thing with the tundra brake upgrade if I'm not mistaken. Gotta get bigger rims or spacers to accommodate the bigger caliper but you get better brakes I believe.

3rd geners who have done the swap feel free to chime in if I'm wrong

It was so awful they based the 3.4 on the Camry v6 not the truck v6.

    Because it is...

    The 3.slow is the 3VZ-E

    The 3.4 is the 5VZ-FE

The camry engine is the 3VZ-FE.

You can swap cams between the 3vz-fe and the 5vzfe. The only part the 3vz-e and the 3vz-fe share is the main bearing.

They all use the same block. Other than that and the cam the 3VZ-FE share much with the 5VZ other than the same letters in the title

I feel like this is a strange and pointless thing to be debating honestly
