    Happy Friday!
Finally gave up on winter and took the plow off the Dodge last weekend.
12 inches of snow forecast for my area for Sunday night.

Oh well. At least I've got a garage; it's a lot easier to attach the plow on a hard, dry, level surface than it is on muddy uneven ground. :notsure:

July 12 2014 was the day I promised myself I was never laying down or kneeling in slush, snow or dirt on my own property....LOL...Well unless I get the 4 wheeler stuck in the woods. But that will be on a voluntary bases...lol

It's nice to look forward to rotating tires.

    Good morning all,
I received the leaf spring recall letter last week for the '09 DCLB Sport that I recently purchased. Any opinions on which of the MA North Shore/Merrimack Valley dealers' service departments may be better than others? I have no experience at any of the area Toyota dealers, and frankly most online reviews of all of them paint a pretty dismal picture.

Agreed, I've had good luck with Bernardi so far. They've done my spiral cable and needle bearing TSB's and I have had no complaints.

Thanks guys. A bit of a hike from where I am, but maybe worth it for no b/s.

Ha! I have another obsession that keeps my wallet thin: kayak fishing in the salt. Except for a few minor mods to accommodate that, the Tacoma will remain mostly stock.

Not so far... I had a female Asian driver moment and backed into a coworker's car. I'm still going with he shouldn't have been parked there, but the end result is the same. Shitty morning so far!

Yep, didn't touch my truck, but his car must be made of tin foil, looks like he got smacked at 30 MPH. Didn't even leave a scratch on the bumper of my truck.

I said that when I found this site looking up speaker sizes 3.5 yrs ago. Here we are now about 4-5 grand later.

Figured she'd appreciate the irony, calling out Asian drivers while reporting I did something completely idiotic at the wheel and hit a parked car...

Nah, just off of 95, 10 miles south of NH.
So far this site has been a great find, and I've resisted the urge to dig deep. I found a few necessary budget enhancements: DTRL, soldering the resistors in the overhead, mirror relocation. Lifts and lockers not on the list yet.....

If we do get snow on Sunday, I am not touching the driveway. I put the snowblower in the shed last weekend. Just going to drive over it until it melt a few days after.

Big blind spot with that big ol' F150 ass.
Sucks. That's why we have insurance, though!

Yeah... not looking forward to what insurance is going to do to me. I'm pretty sure his car needs a new door. Sad thing is, my truck has the back up sensors, but they take a second to kick on. I was backing up slow, but had just started the truck so they weren't really active yet. I had a tractor trailer passing behind me and another truck sort of kitty corner behind me so I had too many things I was trying to watch. The sensors all of the sudden came on solid (which means something is less than 1' away) and I hit my brakes just in time to feel the bump. FML. Worst part is, it's the project manager's car so I get to hear about this for the rest of the project.

The electronics take a minute sometimes to kick in when the truck is first started. I have sensors but they didn't activate quick enough.
