Haha good point. The aftermath is when the money becomes a problem.

This is true, but you'd be limited in what you could do with minimal ground clearance.

One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
Mat did the switch backs and several other trails just fine. Lift really has very little to do with ground clearance of anything other than door panels and bumpers.

Anyone know who has a blue Tacoma looked like about a 6" lift with a satoshi grill and stance. Saw it on hwy 119 in Birmingham? VERY good looking truck!

You'll see a ton of modified Taco's around town (I know I do), and none of them seem to be members, or just haven't found this thread yet.

If I added everything together that I've spent on Tacomas over the years, I may think I have a problem.

I won't be doing any adding.

I stupidly did a little adding the other day, roughly 3.5-4k$ into it just in the last 3 months.

I also just hopped in to a group buy discount for a new polyurethane carrier bearing. I've been having some vibration and I'm thinking this will help or solve the issue.

Awesome truck man! I've actually looked at your thread before haha. A lot of us are northern AL as far as I can tell from the active members.

Good buddy of mine moved to Navarre about a year ago, and I make the drive here and there. About 5 hours from Birmingham.

thanks lol, yeah the panhandle thread is A LOT more active than the old pensacola area thread lol. I guess if it really mattered I wouldnt have too much of a problem driving somewhere for a meet. Big issue is my Tacoma is 2wd, so even though I manage a lot with the 2wd, there are a lot of fun places I cant go due to the missing magical parts lol. Im in the process of rebuilding a 1980 pickup, im on the verge of her almost being street worthy and going to test it's 4x4 and trail capabilities lol

yeah that's not too bad, I take that 5 hour drive to get to Ocala Florida for the annual Citrus meet the FL area has

Looks like I'm stuck here for another week. I think I'll make a day trip to Fort Walton Beach tomorrow. Anything going on around Bham on Sunday?
