It's definitely an interesting time in MMA with belts changing hands and big upsets left and right!

 

I'm diggin it. I do miss the days of anyone fights everyone. No weight classes nothin...just discipline vs discipline.

I think that's what McGregor was talking about when he was talking about making his own class.

I know ya'll hate him and I'm a huge fan but you gotta give him props for trying. He bit off more than he could chew too quickly. When one rises to the top so fast, they tend to think they're invincible.

I gained a bit more respect for Nate. He was pretty humble towards Conor which was cool.

Like I said...I hate the diaz brothers but I love them also. If there on a card I'll watch no matter what!!!! They'll fight anytime , anyone, anywhere.

I thought Conor had him in that 1st round. He was poppin him pretty good but Diaz ain't like the other guys. That dude can take punches like no other. Don't know about anyone else, but for me that fight Was exciting as fuck !!!!.

Holly Holm...............dammitt. She panicked and gave her neck up.

Tate was on her game though. The best I've ever seen her. I hope she can beat trailer Park Rousey's ass!!!!

 

That was such a good fight and I think also a great learning experience for McGregor, he's still young and improving and a loss like that can do a lot for a fighters self improvement. I've got no hate for McGregor, he's a bit brash and over the top but that's what makes him so entertaining, and you have to respect his humbleness in defeat. I was pulling for Diaz in this fight and it more or less played out the way I thought it would (Diaz is too tall, too durable, too crafty and his ground game). All in all a hugely entertaining fight that never would have come together without McGregors willingness to jump up weight classes. I think this fight will do alot for both of these guys careers.

 

I really wish someone here in my home state would of took this little fucker out when he was here last week!!!!

Kimbo I expected nothing of, and even that disappointed.

I didn't expect an instant classic but the Gracie-Ken fight was bullshit. Fuckin low blow motherfucker

 

And to top it off Kimbo and Shamrock both failed their drug tests...

 

I know in part it's due to the concussion, but kinda sux Ronda didn't get a rematch for the title.

 

I seriously couldn't finish the fight card for the Shamrock vs. Gracie. I left my bro in laws house before the Kimbo fight because I was falling asleep and I told myself no more Bellator. As more fighters become free agents and transitions over it should make it interesting. Hell, Melvin Guillard put on a better show that night. I swore he got rocked stiffed in beginning of the fight and recovered only to get KO'd later in the match.

And McGregor vs. Diaz II, seriously? UFC 200 is suppose to be a milestone to remember and that fool needs to defend his featherweight belt.

 

Fuck yeah. Frankie Edgar keeps calling him out but the mic is a little pussy cause he knows he's lose, so he opts to take BS fights like that. PUSSY.

 

I think he wants the quicker finish so he chose to fight Nate rather then make it a 5 round beatdown that Frankie will give him.
