u bolts

    im going to try to put in a aa. I have no tools i have a socket wrench and all those wrenches. will i be able to get it off with a socket

    thanks im going to try to install the aal and the rear shocks, and i might take the coilovers to the shop

    The rear is easy as hell...the front is a bit more complicated cause you have to compress the new coils and stuff...I helped a buddy and it was a pain, but worth the saved money...Just be carefull...Chris4x4 broke his damn hand on accident a few months ago :eek:

    Yeah....But that was while working on a set that wasnt install right. :eek:

    when i put the u bolts back on do i need to use a torqe wrench or the same socket

    you should use new u-bolts torqued to 87 ft/lbs

    I used a ratchet with a long handle to get a good bite on em and tightened the hell outta it :)

    Actually, you really shouldnt re use U bolts. You "can", but its not advisable.

    When you remove the U bolts, it comes right off.
