I have this setup currently. It's still got some rake. Perfect, IMO.

Quick question. I have 885's and OME sport shocks already installed. I got about 3" of lift. Do I need to adjust my front bump stops?

Throw on some Wheeler's super bumps and you'll be good to go.

In the meantime do I need to shim my stock bumps down? And will I need to shim the Superbumps?

887's ride great (just a bit stiffer than stock) and I'm setting at exactly 3" of lift after they settled.

Nice! Looks awesome - i too would want to still be at 3" after they settle. Is anyone else running the 887s with no extra front weight?

Ok, I need some opinions on shims. I installed the full OME kit with dakars on my access cab last year and I have started to notice a vibration in the drive line just under 10 mph while accelerating and it goes away if in 4x4. I installed he carrier bearing drop, hoping it would help, with no luck. From what I've been reading on here shimming the rear diff is the only way to go. I'm just undecided on how much. It seems most have added the 3 degree shim to solve the same type of vibration I have. After measuring the drive shaft and pinion angles I'm torn between how big of a shim to get. Using an app on my phone, I was able to measure 8.6 degrees on the rear shaft, but I couldn't get a good measurement off the pinion. I was getting between 5.6 and 6.6 degrees. I guess my question is should I get the 2.5 shim and possibly be off 0.5 degrees in either direction or get the 3 degree and hope the 6.6 measurement was wrong?

I have been running 887s with no weight up front. The last time I measured them they seem to have settled in at 2.75" of lift.

If your vibe goes away in 4wd , it could be the needle bearing in the front diff , pretty common issue

as far as working angles for shims etc

I just had the needle bearing replaced the other month with an ECGS bushing. I can still feel the vibe through the seat, thats why I think its the pinion angle.

I watched that video. Which is why I'm confused a little. Although re-watching it now, looks like I forgot a piece. The working angle between shafts is about 0 so I might be able to get away with the 2.5 shim. I'll have to remeasure to make sure.

Not sure if you can. Most go with 5100s if keeping stock springs. The ride is a huge upgrade from stock.

I don't get it...I have 885s with 33" tires (285/75r16)and have yet to rub. Stock wheels with 1.25" wheel spacers. Haven't done any major flexing but with the flexing I have done, I know I can't fully stuff the tires in the wheel well. Just had to take off those tiny front mud flaps is all. But for anyone that isn't into serious off-roading, you should be fine.

Nothing hard to get. You haven't fully articulated your suspension.
