    Hi
I installed a complete OME lift on my 2005 tacoma, kept stock wheels.
I got front end alignment done.
I still feel a bit of vibrations, low speed (20-40mph )

Needle bearing vibration. There's a huge thread on it here. Should be on the first page of results if you search for it.

Did you install the carrier bearing lowering kit? In my experience I needed a bit more lowering, ended up with a 3/4" spacer or twice the thickness of the OME kit.

Definitely describing the Needle Bearing Vibration. Well known issue. Primarily in the 30-40mph range. If your truck is under warranty you can have Toyota perform the TSB repair. Or, you can order the ECGS bushing online and have that done. Many folks claim that's the only permanent fix.

Only the driver side, to my knowledge, is effected by the issue.

This is the thread you want. Well over 3,000 posts so far:

The needle bearing vibe is easy to diagnose as it will go away as soon as you engage 4wd. In my case it wasn't the cause but driveshaft angles. I have Dakar leafs in the back with airbags and 887s with top plates so she sits pretty high. I got lucky and found some 3/4" spacers in my hardware boxes that did the trick. Two OME spacers stacked together with longer bolts will get you 3/4" as well.

There's a couple comprehensive threads on driveline angles worth studying but I'm posting from my phone so no linky.

how long of a bolt did you end up using? I might try that first, adding another OME spacer kit

hahaha, i should have left my tacoma alone, it was smooth and quite, but that weak rear leaf spring when loaded kept bottoming out, so I ended up installing a OME lift kit and joining the club, like many ....

i just need to fix the slight vibration, ECGS bearing install and maybe additional CB spacer, the OME lift kit rides nice and smooth :)

Let's see, truck rides fine...install lift.....now I have a "slight" vibration....now I get to install a ECGS bearing and maybe a CB spacer and ...and ...and.... cross my fingers. So is your truck any more capable on or off road? Looks different than every other DCSB with a lift? I don't get it.

The main reason i decided to install a OME 2" lift kit, was because everytime i load up my truck (mtn bikes etc... and with 4 people) my stock rear leaf kept bottoming out when i hit a bump on the road, they are weak and too soft. My previous 2003 TRD off road tacoma never had this issue, never had to touched that truck, my all original '88 toyota 4x4 truck does not have this issue either. So i decided to upgrade the suspension, this way i can use the hitch to carry our dirt bikes as well, no way the stock suspension can handle 2 dirt bikes. I am not the type of person that would modify a vehicle. I did not know that a vibration would occur after installing this OME 2" kit, I found out this is a common issue once lift kit is installed.
