I've been looking at that kit and the bars on Amazon for like $60-80. I don't know if you've ever had a chance to compare the Rough Country to any others but based on your experience would you say the Rough Country is worth the extra cost? My biggest hang-up is that I do a lot of interstate driving and if a rock on the highway took out a $280 light bar, I'm going to be a LOT more pissed that if it were a $60 one, but at the same time I want it to actually function like a light bar should with a lot of output and not just look pretty

I'm sure that there is a complete write up attached to one of the many "my transmission fluid is low" threads that are kicking around.

Basically you just stick a wire between the 4th and 13th pin. Makes your dash go haywire, but allows you to put it into the temperature control mode.

Got all the windows tinted at 20% they all come clear on the SR. I also made some new pull strings from paracord for my rear seat release, as the drivers side broke this morning luckily it broke after the latch had released.

With the tonneau cover on the truck I'm not worried.

I like the rugged cover a lot! It's very easy to put on and off, and very minor water seepage. I forgot I had a couple of cardboard boxes in the bed but the cover handled the high pressure wash today without the boxes getting wet. Here are some pictures right after a rain storm. The dirt and water stains you are seeing is from a water heater that I took to the dump.

I know people are reporting some leaking, but does anyone have this bad of a gap on the tailgate side of the factory tonneau? It's like this on driver and passenger. Bolts are tight and nothing in the bed to hold it up.

Did you push down on the top just behind the latch handle you should hear click , that should solve the problem,

My power steering, coolant, and windshield fluid are all good ! :D

I'm not sure how or where to grease the u joints. Not sure what or where the u bolts are. And really don't know what or where the differential is.

I'm ashamed to admit it... But i have never Even changed my own oil.

So where do i need to go to have all this done? Any jiffy lube type place or a real mechanic shop?

Took me about 45 minutes. Not too complicated. Pro Tip: Put your rail anchors where you want them before you finalize everything. Its hard to move them after the fact.

Well it doesn't sound like you should try and tackle it on your own, no offense, but definitely don't take it to Jiify Lube or anything for that matter. The dealer should take care of it for you but if they don't then a reputable shop can easily take care of it.

Derped the grill and added some custom seat protectors for the dog and kid. Fit is pretty good and they seem durable.

If I got the truck with the factory tonneau cover, is it possible to like return the cover to the dealer if water gets in? Im liking how the soft tops look.
