Yeah I plan on getting my skids from rci. Hopefully getting my sliders next month. I've seen people mounting aluminum skids to the gas tank so that there's no chance of spark. Maybe a little too paranoid, but still.

I played around with the camera today. I'm still trying to learn my way around it and shoot in manual instead of automatic. what do you guys think?

^ You're on a good track. I think you're being let down by your post-processing though. I'd bump up your contrast if you know how to. Maybe your color saturation as well a smidgeon. And the camera isn't the greatest thing, but you have the important part: the eye. Good luck on your photography journey.

Well then my friend, get yourself a basic free editor. Do you have an apple computer? The iPhoto program has basic functions like contrast and saturation editing already built in. You'll be amazed how much better your work will look.

ZroadZ.com makes the pods/brackets, lightbar, brackets etc. T-Rex makes the grille, however it's a special, probably not released to public grille.

    Don't sell yourself short.

These things are pretty easy to do with some basic hand tools. You can find all of the instructions on how to do them on the forum if you do a little searching. It feels pretty good to know things are definitely in-spec, rather than just hope that the dudes at the dealership decided to actually do the work that they say they did. I called the service department today and asked them if they'd heard that 2016 Tacomas were being sent out with low transmission fluid, and I suggested that they actually check the level rather than just blow off the pre-delivery check. He replied with "We do check the level, and we test drive them." I guess they just missed my truck. Or 0.8 qt of ATF was consumed in 2500 miles. Oh well. I like learning about my vehicles. With the internet at your fingertips, it makes researching the jobs really straightforward.

I recommend you start by just changing the oil. Many threads here to show you how, and videos on YouTube. If you do this, you'll know whether you want to try the other things.

@Quicksand_TuRD Are you using Manual or AP? Manual is too much work for me unless I am doing a single long exposure.

I prefer settings like AP that give me control over the focus point but let the camera adjust the F stop.
