My first Ford truck purchase and so far I am very happy with it. Had 2000lbs of stone in the bed the other day, still 4" from bump stops, 18 mpg in a 6000lb 360hp 4wd truck is pretty sweet too. Very comfortable, all the power I will ever need, which is actually bad because you can roll down the highway at 80 and think you're going 50... Styling is very nice, my only major complaint is blind spots. The bed sides are so high on the truck, an average sedan roof line is below the bed rails and for whatever reason people love to sit right there... Can't see them in mirrors or looking over my shoulder.

Keep us posted, I've been needing new ones but haven't wanted to spend the money on another shitty set.

I've owned 2 old school ford 4x4 trucks (1970's) and they were well built quality tough trucks

I was always a Chevy man, until 1999 when they redesigned the Silverado. I don't know what happen but from then on, they have been shit. Electrical issues in every truck and SUV. I had a 1980 Chevy K10 that I did a full resto on, that truck would pull a house down. I also had a 1995 Silverado, loved that truck too. Then I bought a 2003 S-10, put 12k miles on it, towed 6 times due to electrical issues. Traded it for a 2005 Colorado, engine issues. Haven't bought a Chevy since.

You actually can drive straight over thru Greenridge SF and it's just across the river in WV.

thats because from then on, those trucks were too damn big. plus they started building parts for them in mexico.

don't know why you had trouble with the S-10...with the 4.3, as long as you serviced the trans every 60k, they were bulletproof

first gen colorados were garbage, especially with the 5cly

My S-10 was 4 cyl, Colorado was 5 cyl haha.

Bought both trucks brand new, no one knew the 5 cyl was going to be garbage when they first came out.
