2nd gen manuals have the T-handle type like yours next to the steering wheel, like the 1st gens. 2nd gen autos have a cubby in that spot, and instead have a lame e-brake pedal.

Now 3rd gens have the pull handle near the shifter, at least for the autos. I;m not sure about manuals.

They should have raced an Automatic 1st gen. Or all 3 gens with a manual transmission.

They raced different trucks. Should have all been autos is right. Or same guy driving all manuals and timing them. Doesn't make any sense video shouldn't even be online

That, and the fact that the 1st gen was an access cab, not a double cab like the other 2.

This wasn't even a quarter mile...it was like 0-20 mph, which means nothing.

Give me an actual quarter mile or 0-60, all trd off roads that are 4x4 and double cabs..i'd say those are probably the most sold configuration anyways. I would bet the 3rd gen pulls away. Maybe 2nd gen, it would be close, but 3rd gen would be out...that's my guess.

All the previous manual tacos used the t handle but the autos used a foot e brake. 2016 autos have a classic e brake on the center console which I like..Not sure about the manuals as I haven't been in one.

A company we Sub contracted for bought a new fleet of 2016's and as I was working with them for a month I was given a company truck.

I agree it should not be online

The main point that I was trying to make in my previous post is that it`s NOT a 1/4 mile.

2010 $0 payment, tags were $160.00 a year now it's $570.00. Insurance went form $442.00 to $617.00 a year. IMO the 2010 had a lot better engine/transmission package, 2010 had lots more low end torque, truck would break the tires loose from a dead stop, transmission is constantly stuck in higher revs. Sunroof takes away a couple inches of headroom. Center console storage positioning drives me crazy. MPG, was getting around 17.2 on the 2010 with oversize tires and the best i've had on the 2016 is 15.9 I knew most of these things when I bought the truck, I just wish I would have kept my 2010.

Sell it and try to minimize your losses and find you a good 2010, with as many 3rd Gen`s that have been bought I`m sure you can find a good 2010. No need in keeping something that you are discontent with.

When I see 2nd vs 3rd gen speed arguments it makes me think of ricers arguing over who's the fastest between a Honda Accord and Nissan Maxima. It's a truck. Most of you have 4x4s. It is not designed to be a race car, get over it.
