Just bought these in the 285/75/17 size today and waiting for them to be delivered. Can't wait to get them on the truck!

Sub'd - I'm loving these tires. If I don't go Cooper I'm going with these. Wish they came in a 255/85r16 or 255/80r17.

Do you have weights on the 285/75/17s?

They are 65lbs, which is a bit heavy, but the same weight as the other options in that size (except Cooper AT3's which are 55lbs).

Do the Discount Tire stores deal with the replacement certificates bought from Discount Tire Direct? Or do I have to deal directly with DTD for the replacements?

I am really wanting to try these for my next set of tires. Do you know of any real world reviews of these in the snow? Also when will the non LT 265/70/17's be back in stock?

Can you give a picture that compares the difference in tread/sidewall-lugs between the LT and non-LT versions. In particular I am looking at 265/75r16, but anything would be helpful. I've only seen pictures of the LT, and I've heard the non-LT has slightly different design. I don't really have a need to run heavy E load tires on my truck, so the only one I'd consider would be the non-LT (wish there was a load C option ...).

 

These are the P rated version. They are 265/70/17's and to me they seem to have plenty of tread depth. With free shipping and rebates nothing in this category can beat the price. I actually have one brand new duratrac in a C rating and same size, the tread is deeper on the duratrac but not that noticeable. I have a feeling these tires will be quiet, be good in snow and last a while. Can't wait to get them put on when my wheels get here, then I'll have an actual review.

 

Cool deal. The tread pattern looks a lot like the Wrangler Adventure that came on my truck from the factory, but with the A/T3W there is some lug stuff going on with the sidewall a bit. I've read a lot of good things about the A/T3W, and it seems like a good tire for my location (lots of snow) and for the ratio of on-road to off-road driving I do. The duratrac was the other tire I was considering, since it comes in C-load, but I've heard a lot of bad things about getting them to balance. The A/T3W is a more modern compound and design, so I'm sure overall it's a better tire.

 

Pretty much my exact situation, I live in buffalo so lake effect snow and lots of it. There's good siping too so it should help with snowy roads. I bought that one duratrac locally and was going to buy 3 more but it was about 200$ more than four of these falkens. I do very light off roading with a majority of time spent on pavement so I wanted a tire with good road manners. I heard about the duratrac being loud as it wears plus a lot of balance issues. I hate to be a Guinea pig for these tires and wish there were more reviews in winter, but time will tell how well they perform.

 

Super interested in these when my ATPs are gone.

Those are the LT version correct? Mine are going on stealth 6's as well, it's a killer combo and looks real aggressive.

 

I am running these in a standard load 285 70r17. I will take a few pics of themtomorrow.
