Just a bunch of old crap
Exactly. My wife wants to carry hers on the JMT, and I said hell no. I just sit on my Zlite folded in half, or I sit wherever makes a good spot to stay out of the dirt/mud. Now, I did carry mine on a recent 3 mile backpack trip because it was only a 1 nighter. Sure was nice to have around the campfire with my whisky :)

Little Rock climbing center has a special that they call "cheap date night" you get to climb from 7-10pm and it's 45 bucks for you and your date. I wouldn't call that much of a special. Why can't I be lucky enough to live in states that offer better climbing and cheaper gyms lol

I wouldn't carry the rei flexlite chairs far. I did take them both ice climbing with me last month for the group so people could sit and watch without being in the snow while we top roped. They loved it. I have also used them on a few picnic dates paired with a rei adjustable roll up table. That's usually a pretty big hit.

good to know! Thanks for the info. im usually camping out in the forest and was worried if the legs would sink into soft dirt/mud/sand. Any problems with that?

Finally received my compass replacement vial in the mail! :yay:
I'm just sad that the new one doen't have the parallel lines inside to align it more accurately on the topo map... But since I don't use it as a survivalist, I will deal with it haha.

Yeah they do from time to time. I just put a small rock under them. I know guys on expedition portal that use tennis balls with a hole for the feet with them on the sand.

Really just need to gauge it per trip. If I were hiking a couple miles to watch a sunset I may carry extra junk. If I'm going any long distance I don't carry anything I don't need to at all. And to be honest I'm speaking in past tense here haha I don't plan on hiking much anymore. Not long ones anyway. Hurts too much! Ha

Sierra Designs Backcountry Bed. They have them in all different fills and fill weights, by far the best nights sleep I've ever had have been in mine. They even make a double!

Our prices never change and with the day passes you are good all day to come and go as you please. I would never go to the gym you're talking about, that's such a rip off.
