He was cool about it, I called my insurance right away and was very apologetic. Fortunately, he doesn't baby his car, it's just a means of transport to him. The sr. project manager was teasing me about it by the end of the day so word traveled fast.

Went to the drop kicks in Boston last night.... Sitting at the hotel girlfriend is still asleep, about 20 little kids next to us sounds like I'm at chunky cheese.

Guy I work with has played with the drop kick Murphy's. Guess their bands were in similar circles, and would perform together.

Nope, the Ferd seat is adjustable. I may or may not have it almost all the way up... :anonymous:

Just dropped the trailer at Uhaul. The guy insisted he park it back for me. I said fine but I'm going with. He didn't know you had to push the clutch on to start a manual, stalled twice, almost hit another trailer, and couldn't find reverse even after I showed him a couple times. Finally I'm like "you want me to park it for you?"

I'm no pro with backing up a trailer, but I can get it into a parking spot in a wide open lot

You're a lot nicer than me, I would have told him fine, unhook it and park it. No way I'd let one of those dipshits drive my truck. Their policy is typically they unhook it and park it by hand, he just wanted to drive your truck.

Mike is right. Get into the habit of laughing in people's faces. I've done it plenty of times... Close friends and family only. At the jobsite I hide my keys so they have to find me to move the truck.

I figured since he worked there he'd probably be better backing up a trailer than me. Guess not haha

I have a question for you mountain bikers out there. My new bike came with crappy grip shifters. How difficult is it to swap out to trigger shifters? Are parts relatively easy to swap in, like will I be able to keep the same cables? The bike is a Mongoose, using Shimano shifters.

Blech. Grip Shifters. Start pedaling hard up a steep grade and you accidentally shift gear

Pretty sure you'd need new cables and new brake handles in addition to the new shifters; the shifters on my old specialized mounted directly to the brake handle bases. And then you'd also need a new set of grips once you'd torn out the guts from your grippy shifters.
By which time you're practically a second bike into it, cost-wise. :notsure:
