Made it back home and had some time to take a few pics and finish a few mods. Added the Westin Oval Steps and Hood Struts. I was out of town and missed out of the aFe Drop in group buy but it sounds as if everyone is getting good mileage increases so I ordered one which should be here this week. I considered the whole CAI system but could not swing the $$$. Also it is time for the first oil change so I'm planning to go to synthetic. I have been getting between 17 and 17.5 mpg in a mix of city and highway with a fair elevation change in my daily commute. I hope between the filter and the oil the mileage will increase to 18 mpg or so. Thanks for all of the ideas. :)

I might even replace my side steps (which I like) with those. I don't like most of the tube steps out there.

Thanks for the replies and the positive responses. I must admit that the Oval Steps are not the most practical but I like the look. I don't need them to get in and out but they help with the road grime that sprays up in the winter.

I can't find the paper work but will keep looking. When I ordered them from "Custom Truck" in Anchorage they went to the Westin web page. This is what they got.

    SLIM & WIDE
A WINNING COMBINATIONBENEFITS• Wide Eliptical Design is 4.25" diameter• Extruded Aluminum• Features contemporary design end caps• No-Drill installations

My buddy with a Tacoma about fell over when I popped the hood. We love AK also. Don't plan to leave.
