    Thanks!

That's exactly what I was thinking about, but I think it was still someone else's build. Hah!

Maybe it was @MrGrimm ? Or I'm just making it up and it was yours. ;)

Does anyone have pictures from their Rotopax install on their bedrack? I'm trying to find pictures of how the mounting plate is installed or if you just used the single mount.

I know this is from way back, but why don't you sleep with your head at the tailgate? That's what we do! Then as a bonus you can open the door and peek out if you get that sudden feeling somebody or something is taking your stuff

A buddy and I are planning on doing this, what size tubing are you using for the frame? I was thinking about 3/16" wall 2x3 or the like.

For you guys that use the military fuel cans, how do you store your nozzle? Mine currently goes in a plastic bag and rattles around the bed. I'm hoping for an improved storage solution.

Thanks for the tip. Holding the cans doesn't bother me though.. it's more where to put the gas smelling pour spout afterwards. Sometimes I have a duffel bag or something in the bed that I'd rather not get smelly, plus I don't really like things rattling around back there.

I used 2.5"x2.5"x11GA for the base frame. The tounge that is running down the center is 2.5"x2.5"x3/16". The vertical pieces and the top rail is made out of 2"x2"x16GA. The tailgate is made of 1.5"X1.5"x14GA. IT IS SUPER SOLID and not to heavy. This is my initial order list. Hope it helps. PM me if you have any more questions.

It works good and has the added bonus of looking like a giant dildo.

That is nice man love the design! Does it mount to the bed or the side bed rails?

It mounts into the bed, uses the bed bolts so none of the weight is on the side. I had bed bars and was trying to get away from them.
