I have the Z5RS. It runs like a raped ape, very happy quality-wise. Octane 9 came in a couple weeks ago and still waiting on the form 1. Changed out the lower to a SEF Navy style since the grip contour bugged me southpaw, hand guard was changed too.

Those look great. Ive heard nothing but good things on them. Ive just been trying to decide if i really need one or not. It would be nice to have a clone mp5 though. But ive already got a scorpion evo for the "sub gun" game

    For those that enjoy Glocks.....

I am in San Diego on a little vacation so I swung by the Glock Store (glockstore.com) and the guys were super cool. I got a new mag release because the stock one sucks, a shorter trigger bar the makes for a 4.5lb short-crisp pull, and a tungsten guide rod/spring. They couldn't find a tungsten guide rod so I was going to leave without it, but they found one that was out of the package and gave it me for free!

Three practical upgrades with installation only cost me $12.50 and should have been about $75. I recommend you stop by there if you have a chance.

    Me likes :)

I'm ordering the DPM recoil reduction system. I just want to see how well it works on my Glock 23.

my grandfather is over for Easter dinner tonight, he's 91 btw, and he brought this over for my dad to clean and take down to the range for a test.

he purchased this on Dec 5, 1992, from Turners in Fountain Valley CA, for $90, receipt still in the box, and it has never been fired!

    Davis Industries 380 Auto.

Read about Davis here, who was driven into bankruptcy in 99' by many manucipality law suits from this "Saturday night special".....:D

Always enjoy seeing stuff like that

Checked the Davis out in the Blue Book of Guns and seems it's jumped in value a little...at 100% it's worth about $150

Is Davis Industries related to jiminez arms?
Looks very similar to the jiminez 380 my dad has (Had?).

    Anyone heard of holosun optics?
Sounds like close to aim point quality at half the price.

    Yes

Raven, Jennings, Bryco, Davis, Phoenix, Lorcin, Sundance Jimenez, and AMT

AMT is the only one not tied to a Jennings family member I believe

For more info on those companies...look up the ATF Ring of Fire

A series of manufacturers/guns that became known as Saturday Night Specials or suicide specials...marketed towards lower income folks

Yeah, nice piece of history, pull the firing pin and make it a mantle piece.
