    Also yes, i wanted to see if i can just replace the shocks all around and keep oem leafs in the back and factory springs up front

    Someone will probably correct me since I'm no expert, but OME shocks aren't that much longer than stock (Bilstein 4600) so you might just have limited travel.

    yes, you can just replace the shocks and keep stock springs and stock rear leaf springs. I did this a year ago and replaced my shocks with bilstein, but recently decided to go with a complete OEM lift kit.

    Can anyone tell me if my 885 coils are oriented correctly? Also, these are OEM control arms, do I need to get aftermarket ones? (The pictures were taken at sitting height, i.e., no jacks)

    Looks like the coils are right to me. The notch in the passenger spring perch is just rotated towards the engine and you can't see it. Is that your driver side spacer that's all corroded?

    UCAs look like mine. I can't get caster back in spec, but I also don't have any issues with where it's at right now. Haven't had any issues with my upper ball joints being at that angle...but I haven't wheeled it very hard yet.

    I have a set of TC UCAs waiting to go on...that should fix it.

    I got some 5100s that I would like to set at 1.75 on stock OR coils on my DCSB 4x4 but I remember reading some threads where you and some other folks said the truck had problems with darting, which I had never heard of occurring until recently. I would like to get 884s if they would give ~1.75 on the front because I want to avoid any alignment issues and do not plan on running 285 size tires. LR UCAs (which I see is in your future according to your build page) are something I wish I could do but just can't justify with trying to get less than 2" of lift. What kind of alignment numbers did you get after putting the 884s on?

    I am willing to risk that the 884s won't be problematic but I just wanted to hear from someone who made the switch from just 5100s to adding the 884s. I hope this wasn't beat to death in this thread before but I went back about 15 pages and just decided to speak up!!

    EDIT: I also got a 1.5 wheeler's single AAL to install on non TSB springs.

    I just installed 884X's, @HeadStrong Off-Road 3 leaf progressive's on OEM leafs with overload removed, 5100's all four corners. About 2" of lift all the way around. Rides beautifully.

    885 coil / OME shocks = Front
    OME leaf springs and OME shocks = Rear

    The only issue i had was a slight vibrations 20-40 mph, did some searching on this forum and it seems to be a common issue that needed upgrading to ECGS bearing.
