Hey guys, just joined to lurk and get ideas for my build. I have a 2004 Tacoma Xtra cab I started building when I was a freshman in college. Built my own LT kit, put some deavers on the rear with a bedcage. Eventually added a B and C pillar in the cab and changed the bedcage. I used to take it to Barstow and Lucerne Valley races in 06-09, graduated and moved back home in Bullhead City, AZ for a while. In 2011 I got a job at the Chrysler Proving Grounds in Michigan and drove the truck out there. It had a broken motor mount from prerunning BAP in 2011 and I had no idea what Michigan had to offer so it just collected rust for a while. Finally met some dudes with prerunners and found out about the dunes and it was all downhill from there. Finished the cage, added a 32 gallon cell, bump stops on all four corners and had my first dune experience last May for the Silver Lake Prerunner Invasion. Beat the heck out of it for the whole season and realized the front just wasn't enough for the dunes. Not to mention I twisted the frame rails during the last trip out so I got that straightened and decided to go with a front kit that had the upper arm mount off the top of the frame instead of the stock coil bucket and also has a fully fabbed spindle. So as of now she's pulled apart, getting the engine cage started while the arms are being built and finishing some loose ends in the cab. I might throw together a build thread after I get the front end finished but for now I'll leave these here. More photos on Instagram @the_radman

Thanks man, she's been a great truck to me and continues to get better with age!
