First time Tacoma owner. Honestly, it'seems refreshing!

Came from a highly modified Unlimited Wrangler.

So, I bought a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that became such a headache that I had to trade it in. Coincidentally, my engine blew on my wrangler and the way i was treated between the two warranty issues from corporate Jeep, I completely lost the love for both of my vehicles and the brand.

So long story short, here I am. Excited to transform it into an overland capable rig.

3rd Gen Tacoma double cab TRD Off road 4X4.

Welcome aboard Shawn. Sad to hear about you being mistreated when you brought issues forward with your other vehicles. Hopefully you will enjoy this one so much you will forget about that stuff.

The Tacoma is soo enjoyable l, that it's not to forget about the Wrangler.

I'll definitely need to get back out to Moab (right now is the big annual jeep event) but with the Tacoma!!!

Looking forward to learning a lot about IFS and all the differences from what I otherwise know.

    Too few to list.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your purchase. Tacoma is pretty capable off road but know that IFS has its limits and will never equal a solid axle. It's all about what your intended use is.

I'm actually looking at late 90's TJ to build.

Thanks! I had plenty of fun with the JK. Watching videos of people in Moab right now is killing me. It was great but I'm really looking into Overlanding vs. rocks at this point. I could see getting another wrangler someday... just not anytime soon.
