If I look at it too much, my head starts to feel like it's going to explode, my eyes like bounce from one corner to the other saying to my brain, "wtf, dude, that doesn't make sense?!"

    Stuff and things.

I didn't feel like taking time today to cut a pop pin plate, but I welded the pin on so I can eventually do that.

I was trying to figure out how to build the catch as strong, but as small as possible because I'm so limited on space. Turns out a piece of the scrap 2"x.75" bar came in real handy for that. Built the bracket to brace into the face of the bumper, gave it a baby gusset and bent the base plate for smoother closing if this beast ever sags.

What are your impressions of that spindle so far?

    Excellent.

That's about it. The 1.75" base diameter is nuts, so burly.

Good deal, my 1.25" bolt and bushing setup is holding well, I like to know how other setups are performing as well though.

This setup is confidence-inspiring... the first bumper design (like Squeaky's), I'd notice while driving down concrete highways that the bumper would flex just a tiny bit with the undulations; so far I haven't seen this setup move in the least.

Needless to say, as you saw, I don't have any intentions of buying another spindle like the first ones after getting this one in. However, compared to yours with bushings, the bearings have less drag and have a tendency to fling open if not kept in check :( I'm going to need to add the pop pin plate as soon as I can.

    A couple small changes.

Pop pin plate, took a couple tries to get the size right, but it's a vast improvement. Especially considering everywhere I park around here has a side slope.

Two positions: open and more open.

Made a bracket to attach the co2. Soon I'm going to get some abs pipe and build a container next to it to store a small air hose to use for bikes. Tubeless anywhere.

Photo dump of latest stuff and things.

Hung out at my dad's trailer shop a few times. Progress galore!

Attempted to pull apart a nomad swingarm for warranty. I failed.

Finally got around to installing the 500lb coils, noticeably better ride.

    Interesting find...

Took some time to cycle the suspension and found out where I'm rubbing. Turns out it's just about everywhere.

Not quite full bump. But full rub was achieved.

After having a come to Jesus moment with my bike on the roof, and a nearby i-beam, I decided to start thinking about hitch rack options. I'm also already tired of highway driving feeling like I have a sail on top of the truck.

This is inspiration from ISI in Australia, except I currently have about $3.07 into it.

Then today I got the side panels for the bed, carpeted them, installed, fabbed up a panel for switches, etc. Didn't get any wiring run or lights installed yet.

The top switch is master power for the panel, once turned on, everything else gets power...charging, voltmeter, etc.

And then saw my buddy's bike locked up. So shenanigans ensued.

Next week I'll get the lights installed on the rack, and wires run. Aside from that, there's not much left on the list for offseason projects. Might build a cab rack to match the shell, gotta tweak the rear suspension, and basic maintenance stuff.

More than I intend to put up there

My guess is that I can safely load it with 350# on road, 150-200 off. If I ever feel like it, I have some ideas for bed rail tie ins, like an inny-outy lumber rack ;)
