Just installed my cap, got a great deal on a cap about 2 years old for 250$.
It is flat and want to put some bars on top for a rod rack and tubes.

Been looking at tye Yaks and others that you need a few adapters, towers, bars and the likes.... Most set up are 500$ range. No way I plan to spend that.

So I w a looking on Amazon and the web, found several for 160 to 200 set up all you do is mount them.
No extras and these even come in Aluminum, plus different colors.

They are hard mount but no plan to take them off each week or anything.

Anyone using anything different then the norm.
I thing these are listed as ladder racks or service truck tops.

They look as nice or better then the ones needing all the different pieces and locks.

Hope this helps out.. I used 40year house window door silicone on the roof and the rack and we had pretty bad rain yesterday along with some snow and not one leak.. Haven't put any weight on it yet as I'm still trying to finish my rack but it doesn't make no whistle at all or any noise even up to 95mph.
