Hey, I replaced my turnsignals with same bulb and im getting hyperblink. doesnt matter if the lights are on or off, drls, or just fogs... they work fine for lock/unlock, hazards, and right side but not for the left. are you having any problems yet?

Gotcha. Grew up in that area and looked super familiar.

Thanks for the review. Saves me a little money down the road.

Lots of times people would rather love something than feel they wasted money. There should be an "after honeymoon only" review thread and a spot for people to post mods they feel just wasn't worth the cost even if they perform as advertised.

Most the mods i have done have been worth the price i paid personally. With the exception of my light bar in the lower grille. It looks great. Great quality. Bright as hell... But after professional installation i have 500 invested in a light.... Honestly worth it? NO. Not in my opinion... Maybe below $200 would be worth it. Just my opinion of course.

There is no turn signal relay on the 2016s. LED bulb draw less volts so your truck thinks the bulb is burned out. You have to install a resistor on turn signal bulbs if you use LEDsimage.jpg
Also check when your turn signal is on that your 3rd brake light on the cab doesn't flash. If it does your bulb is in reversed. LEDs are polarity sensitive. You can get away with brake lights and reverse lights with no resistors but not turn signals. If you do brake lights check when you turn on just your running lights that the 3rd brake light doesn't come on. If it does polarity is wrong and your truck will go into stall mode because it thinks your stepping on the brake and accelerator at the same time. I think superbrightLEDs.com or one of those companies gives a tutorial on putting in LEDs. Or if you do a search here there is like half a dozen threads on putting in LEDs. . If your going to do LEDs I would recommend VLEDS tritons. More expensive but guaranteed for life. Very bright and the company is great. A few vids on YouTube might check out. One last thing. Resistors get hot. Don't let them touch anything that could melt. Line insulation of other wires etc. gorilla makes a heat resistant mounting tape you can get at most hardware stores to stick them to something metal.

Thank you very much for the info! If I change the bulb around, it doesn't even come on so I didn't think to check any other parts/lights. I just put them in the way I think they go, if they don't turn on, I switch them around lol

How's the sound quality? Link to the model or where you bought it? I'm looking for a similar solution - nothing overly powerful, just something to add a little more bottom end.

    UPDATE!

After running most of the week with the air plug in the Engine compartment buzzer. In the end I ended up pulling the air plug back out. I think I prefer the audible sound as a good reminder, rather then to not have it remind me.

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
I pulled mine and painted also. Too much work to tape off. Use 60lb fishing line and floss behind the badge to get them off. Plasti-Dip spray paint from home depot. 3M double sided tape from automotive section. Nothing to it.
