And the Miata is kind of a no brainer.... I've got the engine since my uncle is building his Corvette a new TT set up with all new engine...

LS2 and a manual transmission shorten the back axle to fit more rubber along with body kit and I have a roughly $7500 400 hp Miata with capabilities of pushing a much higher amount.... With a little bit of bolt ons.

 

4chan's just some shithole I spend too much time on. The auto board is very fond of Miatas. I'd love to get an NA some day, but who knows.
If you've got the engine, then go ahead. I love the idea of tiny cars with V8s in 'em. NA and NB Miats are cheap and usually easy to find.

 

I like my tC for a DD. I'd get an FRS once the tC is paid off if they make it better.

 

Collecting Toyotas and scions lol. I just wish it had more power... For the same price I can build a 1000hp Miata lol

 

I'd like an old early 90's 2nd gen MR2 but I would not have the heart to drive that every day. FRS would fit the bill nicely.
I'm not as much of a speed demon as I once was.

 

So when is @bpf building this for you?

 

So why consider the FRS in the first place?

 

I liked it and wanted to see if I really liked it or just the look of it...

 

Lol he won't be... East Coast Supercharging will they are the top LS guys on the east coast... Thats who built my uncles car the first time and now this time with the new engine and set up and all that...

Nothing like having a fast unreliable money pit as a DD.

 

Wouldn't be a DD. And it certainly wouldn't be unreliable... Itd be a mostly stock Corvette engine and stock trans with 17000 miles on it...

 

I just wonder how much differently this conversation would've gone if a couple people said how much they like the frs instead of saying they don't like it...

First hood struts, then a new car, shit man.. Pay off the truck and mod it to how you've been saying you will for years.

The truck wasn't going anywhere and I can afford a second payment easily it was just an idea... But it would have been the same... I don't rely on this site to make my decisions... The FR-S was just as fast as the Corolla I drove around while they replaced the cat on my truck... Only thing different was the handling
