Soon after we get into NC3, Bartlett Springs Road there are some camp sites. I believe they are pretty close to a stream also. We will stop in there and start setting up for lunch. That will be about the half way point.

Count me in. Could just be me, possibly the family if I can get them into the truck in time to make it to Vacaville for 07:00.
@gilpinrobert - Do you happen to have GPS coords for the start point? If things go sideways, I'd catch up with you there.
From what I can tell from your maps, it looks like 39.304861, -122.526941; Lodoga Stonyford Road at Goat Mountain Road.

I'm only 18 about to be 19 and I've seriously grew up in the mountains that you guys are planning on taking this weekend, it feels good seeing other people take these roads and trails also. I'm a college student so if I don't work this weekend, I'll catch up with you all at goat mountain road, if you know an estimate when you'll be around the area?

Pick an easy spot off 680 and I'll meet up with you there to head to the restaurant.

Not sure when we will be at the trail head, if we are on the road from Black Oak Diner by 830 or 9 - we should be up at the trail head by 1030 - 1100

I grew up on these trails so I just wanted to let you guys know, on trails NC4 going to NC5, you have to cross a creek and at this time of year, it may be high and fast flowing so just be careful going through that and then from NC5 to NC3 is a little rough part on the trail, my father and his buddies all call it the rock garden because there's a lot of rocks there. They aren't like some crazy rubicon rocks or anything, just more like shale rocks and the road is can be pretty bumpy but that part makes it fun! So just be careful on that water crossing because I had a buddy try to cross it with a dirtbike on a trailer and the current swept it off the trailer and it was found months later down the creek haha

Roger that. Hopefully the level will go down next week.

The water level should go down as long as there isn't any rain up there this next week which I think we are in the clear

@Gply George - you happen to have an SWR meter you could bring? @Dcsleeper408 has a new CB setup that needs antenna tuning. Think @tyfoon11 still has mine...
