I used a snorkel for a landcruiser Prado to fit on my glassworks fender, then cut a slice out to bend it a bit. Then used an old soldering iron and the part I cut out as a filler.
More pics are on the "aluminum falcon" build thread

Keep in mind I left a gap under the snorkel to eventually run tubing for a inner-exocage to run under it, down into the fenders.
