When doing my speedo cluster swap my rpm circle lights up great with the new white smd leds i swapped but the mph and engine temp, gas circles dont light up at all. I was extremely green (new) when i tried doing this. My solder could of puddled and touched both positive and negative sides also i guess the solder has to be specifically for circuit boards etc etc. If anyone who has knowledge in this want to be pal and write up a proper "how to"with what not to do when doing led cluster swaps im sure alot of people will be greatly appreciative of your service. Thank you.

Led's have polarity. Did you solder them in reversed maybe?

Checked that. Not the issue. At first yes then went back and checked them all and fixed the ones that needed fixing.

Set your meter to diode and test them in both directions. If you shorted across them they will have 0 ohms across both ways. You probably already know this though.

Did you blow a fuse? I remember when I was installing my trailer lights, half of my speedo didn't light up. It ended up being a fuse. Just throwing it out there...

I would think that a fuse would kill all the LEDs not just half.

Seriously doubt it is a fuse.

I can't remember what exact fuse it was. I'd just remember it was a little red 10v. I'd check all of them. They're not that hard to check.
Well it could be different for second gens, but it did happen to my first gen. Half of my speedometer lit up, the other didn't. Replaced the fuse and !tadaa! Back on.

Pretty sure it would be the 7.5 Amp Gauge Fuse to the left of the steering wheel behind the pocket.
