What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Installed a new transmission mount.

 

Finally got my new stereo in-

 

Damn well at least the interior still stock.

 

Got my tube doors on today and took it for a little ride to Get the feel for them

 

Looks great buddy. Our trucks are starting to look more alike lol

Alright guess I'll try the ferrite filters but if that doesn't work honestly I could live with a little static when the lights are on and yea they are just 2 4" led lights. On another note, I finished painting my wheels yesterday and took it for a little trip up north.

 

I finally fixed my airbox after removing the previous "deckplate" because it interfered with the HID assembly.

I also realigned the headlights and added clear turn signal lenses.

I hear ya. I just got back from a 5 month gig working down in Florida, and though I missed the hell out of my truck, I grew accustomed to having bluetooth in the rental my company got for me. I drive quite a bit, and spend a lot of time making calls and listening to podcasts, so when I got back the tape deck aux adapter just wasn't cutting it anymore.

Tip:
Does the door have a hard plastic stopper? If it does I recommend putting an cane tip or crutch tip. The rubber tip will keep ppl from slamming the door when shutting. That hard plastic stopper will eventually dent the steel there. The rubber keeps it from denting the steel and eventually rattle.

 

Thought adding turn signal LEDs in the fenders would be a good idea, as this city gets more crowded the drivers are getting dumber and more aggressive

Tops rustoluem bedliner and bottom is plasti-dip. Hoping bedliner is more durable.

 

Its coming, got that battery for $50, I have to work on building bank account up first. Just bought a set of RAT skids (being built now, group buy), all new upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, pair of Hella 500s and upgraded them to 55 watt HIDs, bought a set of PIAA 510s, Elite front bumper, Smittybilt wench, Redline Tuning Hood QuickLIFT (waiting for FedEx to deliver, group buy), CS-144 GM 140 amp alternator and 150 amp breaker and other odds and ends all in the last three months. But a better battery is coming soon.
