All you Toyota Fanboys need to pick your battles. They are great off road trucks, but when it comes to luxury quality interiors they don't come close to what GM/Ford offer.

Wow, you mean there's Toyota Fanboys on a Tacoma website?
Who ever would have imagined that!

    More cheap plastic.

I'm amazed that some manufactures are now calling the lining inside the fender an option and charge extra for it...

Wow. After a few years on Tacomaworld and you think you've seen it all, and them all the sudden blammo...right on the side of the head.

I still remember the guy who "bed-lined" his whole truck and then posted pics on how proud he was...boy that was uncomfortable...

Perhaps the intent of the post has surpassed your comprehension abilities. I'll give you a few days to process.

I can't believe you never saw that. I remember being right in the middle of that thread. It made retarded dick swinging threads on the 3rd gen forum like this this one look like nothing.

Wow I just read the whole thread. There certainly a lot of dick swinging and dick stalking there but I think I've seen worst in the 3rd gen forums.

I look at it as a sign of what was to come in the third gen threads lol. Kinda like the 3rd gen forums grandpa.

I still wonder what happened to that kid though. He was upside down so hard on that truck and it doesn't sound like his next purchase was going to help him much either... I hope he figured it out before he went broke.

There is kind of a mini spawn of that thread in this new 3rd gen thread....

Nah. That didn't didn't shrink wrap the truck for 7K.

Edit: I just got to the part where he's in highschool... how da fuck... I didn't buy my first new car until I was working full time in college and that thing wasn't even worth 15K...

Sounds like his folks cosigned the truck but he's making the payments and paying for gas. Kid must have a good job which might be true. I had a buddy in high school who's parents owned a small construction company and he made enough money working part time as a framer to own a new car.

That being said, my first car(s) were three nonfunctioning 1977 Honda civics where I salvaged the parts off two to make the third work. I paid $50 for the three cars. I never could get the lock to work on the driver's side and had to use a padlock instead.

Back in the days when parents didn't care about their kids safety..... ;)

I added in my 2 cents on that thread. I had a newer car when I was 16 but there were so many rules around it I actually learned a lot about real life and goal setting. Where there is a will there is a way to do it right.
