Are you running a blue see fuse box setup? I'm assuming you won't be running it as an inline fuse.

I have not bough the fuse box yet. I need about 8 lines from what I am planning. Inline won't do. I will probably end up with an off brand box. Idk if blue sea is worth it. Especially since I have been avoiding water crossings like the plague.

I'd hop in with the BD group but they need to make a DOT approved light first. That being said I don't want to run Rigids square housing in my circular fog light openings in my bumper.
I suck at wiring, that's the only reason I'm drilling you with these questions.

With the fuse box, would you be running circuit breakers similar to what Ripcord did? Is that needed? I'd guess so, so you don't pop anything but I'm not sure. I know all the Blue Sea stuff he used is on Amazon and is marked down some as I have it sitting in my cart.

I have led pods tapped into my reverse lights. And they are on a switch. I put a diode in line so when I flip the switch the factory reverse lights don't come on and when I go in reverse they all go on.

Which build did he do that?

If you are running a fuse box you shouldn't need a circuit breaker. I know with my dual battery I have circuit breakers in that one. Usually it is one or the other. Unless you want to limit total amps to the box, then a breaker would come in use. But I don't know why you would want to do that.

I have learned through asking questions so I do not mind. I got a buddy who is an EE major so whenever I get into a pinch I call him, but with the internet you can find a lot of good info.

I may go to the junk yard and find a good watertight fuse/relay box out of something too.

I'll likely to this route then. Thanks!
Post found here. I'll read through it again and find the point of his fuse boxes.

Just don't turn them on when you have people behind you. It was so hard to see behind Zach lol

Ya but that just means you need more space behind me. I don't wanna be rear ended at night through some dust.
Yes they should be yellow so they aren't so bright and should be flashing to but I didn't get around to that yet.

Your lights shoot pretty far man haha. I don't think you were ever in any danger of getting hit, John was just following a little closer to make sure he didn't lose you. That's my 2 cents at least

I wasn't referring to any particular moment just night wheeling in general.

Ohhh. I don't think you have that much to worry about honestly. Your running lights/brake lights were visible the whole time. Another thing you can do is just hit your hazards. That's what they're there for. The amber will cut through the dust and they flash so you'd be pretty set

That's sort of how my weekend went. I knew I was going to UNCW but had no clue as to what I was doing since the person I was staying with worked most of the weekend. Found some pretty cool places, met some people, took some pictures, and had a great time. Ended up finding a few places I'd like to revisit as well
