Nobody ever told me about recharging it or what happened if it died. I'll see if I can change it

 

the charging thing might be on older ones, I know my folks first Prius had the "socket" but it may not actually charge. Dad says their current one does not have it

just go get a battery and change it CR2032

 

actually, get a pair and change both, one at a time, if one is DOA the other isn't far behind
the batteries in our Camry fobs lasted about a year

 

while we are on it, if i replace the battery in my key fob on the taco will that help the range? the range currently is very subpar compared to past cars

 

you sure range is the issue ? with mine if I'm not opening a door inside of 10seconds or so it relocks itself. that can be me unlocking as i walk out the front door turn and lock and walk to truck
it re-locks a lot faster than our Camry did

 

Yeah I forget to lock it a lot and have to walk back half way across the parking lot... (disclaimer I could see it flash and make its lock fart sound from much farther than it reaches..)

 

It's a 2013 that we bought new in Mar. of 2013 and it's still on the 1st battery. Just opened it up, it's not a 2032. It was a 1632. I have some 2032 on hand too. Never can be simple can it...

 

figures they wouldn't stay cross platform on something that stupid

 

Just ordered a pack of 4 on Amazon. Now this is Tuesday's problem.

Live off of oleander by the batting cages. I have been lurking on the thread for a few weeks. Looking to put side steps or sliders on here soon and re-plastidip the rims in the next few weeks. I'll be on the lookout for meet ups and rides.

Once and awhile some meet at my small shop space to hang out, but really not many Taco guys around here really just about having there trucks look good thats about it, and just mall crawl

 

I'm going to change my oil this week. Anything pertinent I need to know or is it pretty straight forward? I couldn't change my '00 4-runner because the filter was in a dumb spot I couldn't reach.

I'm assuming the standard 4qt 5W30 and S3614 filter?
