Make sure you don't have anything in the way of where the struts go, I didn't bother checking and the struts have been sitting ever since #sticklife

    Sounds good dude! Will do!

Good point. Kinda worried about where my compressor is located that they might hit that!

Yeah they contact my compressor on the passenger side and spod on the driver side, and you'll need a stronger strut if you want to just run one side

While I was out in my garage building a bunch of projects I stole away and bent a hoop for my bumper and I like the way it came out. As much as I hate to admit it, I don't know if I'm gonna do the headlight hoops. Showed my wife some pics and she doesn't think it's gonna be the best choice either.

Also dialed in my welder a little more and I feel like my beads are improving so I'm happy about that.

A little more heat on the object to the right, then pull on to the tube. Heat is correct on the tube, looks ever so slightly too cold on the object it was welded to. Other than that, that is a clean weld and it makes my pants tighten in the front.

One last "tip", wire brush and wipe area with acetone before you weld. That makes a huge difference in weld penetration and making a clean bead. You'll notice it'll be easier to actually lay the bead too. It'll just sound better and feel smoother.

Heck yeah! Thanks man. Much appreciated. I'm always down to learn more and how to get better at anything I do so it means a lot!
