Love payday. Applied for two police officer jobs and to take a power test for said jobs.

Then ordered this guy to help complete my 20# CO2 tank

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1458336638.275385.jpg

Going to order new brake lines today or tomorrow to support my Chevy 63 swap

These weren't dipped in vinegar but I don't think you really need to do it. I've exposed some metal but I'm more concerned with getting the rust gone so I'm happy. The ones soaked in vinegar should be easily to do. These are now soaking to make removing the bushings easier

So I've been working on the 63 leafs this weekend. I've tried different things to remove the rust. Fastest is the flap wheel. Hands down. I'm going to sand them by hand so look isn't terribly important right now. Plus I'm painting it with por-15 so it should be fine.

I did try some loctite rust remover

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1458519811.037723.jpg

It did work but too much patience and effort compared to the flap wheel.

I also tried rust remover drone Home Depot. Same review. Not as fast but still works if it's something small you want to take light rust off.

Also white vinegar loosens it up but it takes wayyyyyy too long

Thats why from now on ill never get another Chinese LED unless its for rock lights or something, its worth the extra cost.

True. I have lux led for rock lights and they're awesome. Built in the USA too. As well as less money compared to rigids lol.

Exactly. You don't need optics for rock lights. Chinese LED's = HID head lights in stock housing.. Rigid = HID with Retro fit

Yea true. Everyone spends a lot of money for rigid rock lights and they're the same. Plus you have to drill. Mine are magnetic

The "anti squeak" pads? some just use a bike tube, but I'm sure someone makes the plastic caps specific for leafs
