Has nothing to do with frame reinforcement. All of these aftermarket bumpers mount on the thin plate and studs that the stock bumper use.

Yeah that's what I mean, Pelfrey frame reinforcements don't reinforce those and the others do.
    image.jpg image.jpg

I'm running both Pelfreybilt and Brute Force Fab frame reinforcements

Those still aren't enough to prevent that metal from breaking at the frame horns, it's about 18 gauge metal.

Yeah I know the frame horns are 18 gauge, but still its a lot better than nothing holding them.

I think you're missing the point. All those are bandaids the real fix is beefier frame horns. Those gussets you bought still only holding back 18 gauge steel. Here was my fix to the issue.

I've got a lot more video than photos of everyone that I still have to sort through. It was great meeting you and your wife and I was really impressed with how well you tackled all the trails. Would love to wheel with you again when I get my truck back.

    Cutting not grinding!
He's got way more flex/drooped than the e-brake cable can reach and over stretched the e-brake cable spiral sheath.. and being that it's one long spiral it tighten up the cable to the point where it did not want to release...
He cut just enough of the bent spirals to release the e-brake...

Is that a 15 or 20# powertank? How does it do with the impact?

Pretty sure I crunched/crimped that cable in Cemetary somewhere.

Powertank was badass with the impact. 15# IIRC I kind of want one now.

I was looking at the powertanks but they are just too fucking expensive. So I built this 20# for 200$. I used it for the 1st time Sunday. Went from 18-40 psi in 16 seconds per tire.14581765780261612641388.jpg

I went with a 20ft custom cut hose at a Hydraulic line shop. This hose is a bit more than that polyurethane coiled one that you get with the powertank but definitely keeps the pressure.

It's cool but not my thing. Too big and bulky to have in the truck.
