So I'm planning on doing the retrofit headlights on my 07 Trd sport and I can't seem to find what size projector people are using so if anyone has done the retrofit and could tell me more I would appreciate it also what size halos people are running I know some don't do them at all and some will put one on the shroud and then a bigger one I haven't fully decided if I'm gonna do a halo in there or not yet though, but anyone with any input or pics that wants to help me out that would be great

Tacomaworld is by far one of the best forums I have been on. However the search function on here is not the best. Use google to search for things and put tacomaworld at the end. It will usually give you what your looking for. Welcome

not 100% sure on the 07 headlights, but tacoma housings have a ton of space, so you should have no problem fitting any size projector in it

I went with the FXR 2.5" lenses, Apollo II shrouds (flat) and the 100mm halos. One thing though, I haven't had much luck with the halo ring LED's lasting more than a year or so, they slowly burn out the leds every month or so. I've done a few sets and the same problem. They might have improved the design, but I wouldn't put the halo rings in again. Pic is in my avatar.

TRS is definitely the best place to start, I will say though, if you like the FX-R projectors, be prepared to do a lot of modification and cutting to fit them in the adjustable buckets properly. Maybe I just like them mounted deeper, but it took quite a bit of trial and error with a Dremel before I was satisfied. End result looks solid though, they have an 'almost factory' look to them (no halos).
