Nice to see a couple wins the past two games. Sucks not getting the ROW though cuz it's been two shootouts in a row

 

I'm still surprised the league hasn't talked about going to the 3 point system basically everyone else uses that try to separate out regular and ot wins.

Quebec will and should get a team first. Everything I've read said the owners preferred Quebec City over Las Vegas. The only hang up with Quebec City is the 500 million. It's not even the 700 million CAD cost so much as it's the fact that if Phoenix or one of the Florida teams flops they will be sold for somewhere in the 150-300 million USD range... so do you blow your load on the nearly billion dollar expansion team or wait for the incoming 50% off all failing teams sale?

No. Las Vegas is way more of a gamble, no pun intended. What's going to make people from Las Vegas support this team long term? Are they willing to drive down to the strip regularly, through that gong show of traffic, to see games in 5-10 years from now once the hype is dead? Will the NBA come into the city as well and take revenues from hockey in 1-2 years down the road?

At least with Quebec City you know you'll have the support of the locals.

Why ? They already have a building , owners willing to pay the entry fee and a stable fan base

My vote would say so, though it would be up to the owners. I know the current owners of the Jets wanted to start fresh with a new name, but gave in to popular demand.

 

Always thought it was a cool name myself ... had to look up definition.

.. wonder if they would stick to classic uniforms or the ones (pic) would've used before move. Or maybe something totally new ?
