I had to cut 2 of mine out. I believe it was the back ones on each side. Sawzalled them out. There was a little rust but ultimately they were seized inside the sleeves. Then I bought two new ones from the dealer, only way to go for those to work right.

Easier just to run it straight than have to get a mix right. It's a pita to just fill the tank but its really worth it. My one gallon windshield washer tank ($5 salvage find) will last from a day to a week. It depends on how much I boost. If I'm going through the mountains or doing long pulls it will go fast. Your nozzle size will matter too. I'm running a 7gph now, so times 1 gallon, would be give or take 10 minutes worth of injection if that makes sense. You could get a 2 gallon resivoir too. I like it so much. It will drop a 14afr to 11 no problem.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Big ass breaker bar. Make sure you are breaking the nut, not the bolt.

I think I'm sold. Considering my WOT AFRs are already 11-12, I don't think I'll be going through too much just trying to maintain that 11-12 AFR for 3 more PSI. I won't have to worry about closed loop part throttle boost leaning out anymore either. Hmm...

I've been getting a slow drip of oil coming out of my valve covers. I tightened down what seemed to be a couple fairly loose valve cover bolts. Not super tight but snug. I think I need a catch can bad. I've been boosting without one for some time and am not sure of the repurcusions of running without one. I know the mani can get dirtier/oil soaked. I've had one but it sucks. Cheapie one from ebay. Doesn't open up to put scrubbies in and drain is on the bottom. I've ordered a better one. Any suggestions or advice?

Great minds you and me, just bought one like that last night too. Lol. What size tubing did you run, and just vaccum line or does it have to be something more oil resistant probably? I'm going to go to the auto store after work

They sell "emmision hose" on the shelf at most auto parts stores or you can always ask the cashier.

Love beefy lower arms. I don't know how you keep your engine bay so clean. Mine is a disaster right now. I'm dreading washing it with the turbo blanket and heat wrap.

Might have to buy that catch can too. I just have a hose dumping down right below the frame and it looks like snot under the truck. Glad it isn't going into the motor at least.

Got a small electric pressure washer, I hit the bay from time to time. At one point I just taped a few things off in there and flat black sprayed it. A lot cleaner that way.

Finally got around to installing the oil catch can. It was super easy and I'm not quite sure why I waited so long to put it in. The hardest part was getting the correct length and type of hose and finding the proper fitting to mount into the can. My oe PCV line didn't have any residue in it and the PCV valve was clean. Does this mean the can wont collect anything? We will see what it gets if anything, just worried that it might not even need it if the oe run was clean anyway.

Is it 2 lines in and 1 out on that can? Think I'm going to pull the trigger finally on one instead of dumping below the frame.

Yeah man, 1 runs from your valve cover pcv to the can then can to manifold intake. Basically runs in line with your PCV system. I've also seen guys vent to atmosphere and just put a small breather filter on the mani intake. Other guys remove the PCV check valve too but mine still works. Not really sure if that helps anything removing it?

Lol that's ironic that we got like the exact same catch can. I hope you used teflon tape though... No residue in the valve might mean that the valve is old and not working properly.

Can I just run it straight out with no pcv valve? Dude that tunes said you don't even need one on boosted cars.

I had to get smaller brass fittings 3/8 instead of the huge aluminum ones that came with it. Found good ones at O'Reilly.

It comes with large fittings? I was curious if they be too small for my truck. How large is the inside diameter? I use 3/8" hose because I get a good amount of blow by.

Yes, in fact I was going to set mine up like that. You need to plug the intake mani fitting though or you'll have a vac leak.
