What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Sitting here at the dealer getting my last free oil change ! About damn time. Also finding out why the steering wheel vibrates at hiway speeds and why it vibrates worse when breaks are applied

 

Do you go wheeling in wooded areas? If so you really should think about changing out your antenna with the spring for a Wilson Flex. The spring will most likely let your antenna hit your truck way too much. The Wilson antenna does not need the spring as the antenna itself can bend.

 

Got my last free oil today too. Damn. Oil is expensive

Not a ton, the spring is the heavy duty and will take a bunch to make it bend. My plan is to test this setup out for a bit and if I end up not liking it, going to fab up a bed mount and move it back there.

 

Yea id rathr pay for oil and know my truck is being properly cared for by me. And not the dealer who views my truck as just a number. I work at a warehouse and veiw cases the same way sometimes. Drop something and it leaks a little i dont have time to go get another so i throw that shit on the pallet. Dealers i feel are the same way in their own way.

 

I did the warehouse gig for 7 years a while back. Drop it,smash it, ship it was our motto. Lol. I got out of that job and into hvac/home maintenance before it killed me

 

Lol at my last warehouse the phrase was if it can ride the line we can ship it! And here if its 75 percent of case pack isnt broken we can ship it

 

How did you do that? My dealership & Toyota still say they don't have the new leaf springs...

 

I just had a new HVAC installed... I hope you weren't one of the guys that installed it, lol.

There's no time for that in a warehouse. We wore headsets that said "pick this, pick that, hurry up! You're friggin slow! Pick that too". Lmao
